Prior to joining Watlow, Ostaffe was a manager at A.T. Kearney, a top tier global operations and strategy consulting firm. In this position, he led client and consulting teams to assist companies in reducing costs, growing revenues and solving complex business challenges.

Ostaffe also previously worked as a process control engineer, a specification sales engineer and an OEM sales manager at GE Ballast. He then moved on to Advance Transformer Co., a division of Phillips Electronics, where he gained extensive marketing experience - growing six brand categories from $25 to $125 million in six years. Ostaffe was also responsible for developing and implementing the company's sales and marketing strategy including new product introductions, product roadmaps, pricing, research and sales training.

Ostaffe received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pa., and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Evanston, Ill.
